First, tap on and key inn a name for the transducer that you will remember. It can be a good idea to add something like "2F" at the end of the name to indicate a 1/2 inch free field microphone type, or "4P" for a quarter inch pressure type.

Select the type of tranducer.
Most of the input devices from Norsonic are predefined in the system. When is on, a dropdown list is available under . When any of these are selected, the choice becomes available. Correct electrical conditions (preamplifier voltage and polarization voltage) are automatically selected.
The remaining information to fill in is then serial number(s) and verification data.
In case the sensor is not on the predefined list, more parameters are displayed. The measurand must be chosen (please see Transducer types), must be set on or off and must be checked if the preamplifier is IEPE.
These parameters are given by the calibration laboratory. The name of the laboratory is filled in under , the date is entered and must be set to the correct value given in the calibration chart for the transducer. contains the period in months in which the transducer should be recalibrated.
The can be defined for the sensor. A less-than sign will appear in the SLM view when the level is below this range.
Please remember to check the sensitivity of the system with a sound calibrator before starting to measure.
