A Trigger is needed for starting a measurement. This is the Global Trigger.
The different Global triggers are:
A push on the start button starts the measurement immediately unless the Delay is different from 0. The Delay will wait the given number of seconds before the measurement starts.
The measurement will start when the clock reaches the preset trigger time.
Starts the measurement when next full hour begins.
The instrument may be set to trig on an external electric signal. See the description of Digital I/O lines for details.
In this case the measurement will start when the function reaching predefined level. Possible triggers are:
"Manual Trigger", starting the measurement directly when the START/STOP button is pressed, with Delay = 0.
If a trigger sequence is initiated (when the START/STOP button is pressed) the instrument starts to look for the trigger condition (e.g. correct clock). The front led is blinking blue and a timeglass is shown in the status bar in the measurement pictures until the measurement is started.
