A "connected view" means a view where both the upper and lower parts are selected and they can therefore be operated simultaneously. Please note that both the upper and lower view is surrounded with an orange frame.
This is especially useful if both a level versus time and a level versus frequency display are on the screen
simultaneously or if the screen is divided to show both a graphical and a numerical version of the same data.
