Calibrating the intensity probe is crucial for correct results. We recommend calibrating at least every 24 hours or when the environmental conditions have changed since last calibration.
The probe must be calibrated/checked in the same environment as the measurement will be performed in. We recommend to perform a residual check after each measurement project is completed to verify that the performance is consistent.
First, tap into this menu to perform a pressure calibration for each microphone. Pressure calibration is essential to obtain correct values for both sound pressure and intensity.
Tap into this menu to perform a phase calibration with accompanying residual check.
Checks the probe performance and obtains a pressure-residual intensity spectrum.
Shows the latest pressure-intensity residual spectrum, obtained either from a phase calibration of residual check.
Shows all pressure-residual intensity spectrums obtained for the current probe.
