This menu gives access to input channel and input devices.
Tap into the sound channel to change transducer, calibrate or change transducer-specific options like windscreen correction.
Configure transducers. Transducers must be defined before they can be used and selected in the Sound Channel menues.
Connect a Norsonic Nor1297 Noise Compass for additional direction indication. Tap to search for available Noise Compasses.
Select from the list to connect. After a successfull connect, no further actions are needed. Direction data is automatically
stored along with all measurements. Tap the V/X symbol to disconnect. The instrument automatically reconnects to the last
used Noise Compass when restarted.
To choose a transducer, please tap on the channel you want to use, and select the correct tranducer. The sound channel is on top of the instrument.
When selecting an input device, the actual setup for this transducer is immediately sent to the hardware.
Information on all your transducers, microphones and accelerometers, can be registered in the instrument to easily switch between them. Each transducer is given a name to make it easy recognise. Stored information includes sensitivity, polarisation voltage, response correction, preamplifier power and gain, etc.
Please note that your instrument may not be equipped with vibration inputs (even though the input sockets are there). This is a hardware option. Vibration channels can be installed by Norsonic or in one of our qualified service centres.
