Four frequency weighting networks called A, C, Z and AU are available simultaneously
Enabling a weighting network does not automatically enable any measurement function. You must enter the Functions menu and enable the A, C, Z or AU weighted functions required. Deselecting a weighting network removes the corresponding network from the Functions menu.
The Ultrasound (AU) network is only available when the Ultrasound option is installed.
Weighting network in Idle mode chooses which weigting network that is applied to the levels in idle mode. The frequency graph is not affected by this. To see an A-weighted frequency graph, please use the Context menu.
If Ultrasound is off, you can use calculated network. Only one caculated network can be enabled at a time. There are five predefined networks. They are based on the A, C, Z, B and G network weightings. For these networks you are only allowed to narrow the frequency range. If Ultrasound is enabled, you can select between the measured and calculated network for the A network bar. The calculated A-network has the same response as the measured A-network without utrasound enabled. I.E. it attenuates more above 20KHz compared to the true A-network with ultrasound enabled. This enables you to compare results measured width ultrasound with results measured widthout ultrasound.
Tap the Add softbutton to add your tailored network.
To remove one of the user added networks, just open it and tap the Delete softbutton.
