This menu controls all the parameters for Reverberation time measurements.
Change the filter settings such as lower and upper frequency range. This setting cannot be changed once measurements have been taken.
If ISO 10052 is the selected standard, the bandwidth is automatically set to 1/1 octaves and set back to 1/3 octaves in all other cases.
Change the method for detecting the correct decay. Noise is used for operation with the internal noise generator, and Impulse is used for operation with an external impulsive noise.
Only available when Excitation Type Noise is selected. Change the time duration of the active noise excitation before the decays are measured.
Only available when Excitation Type Noise is selected. Change the setting to either the minimum threshold level or the time before the decay measurements are triggered.
Only available when Excitation Type Impulse is selected. Once the instrument detects a Level above the threshold in the frequency band you have specified, the capture of the impulse and its decay will begin.
Only available when Excitation Type Impulse is selected. Once the instrument detects a Level above the threshold in the Frequency band you have specified, the capture of the impulse and its decay will begin.
Only available when Excitation Type Impulse is selected. If selected the integrated impulse response method (Schroeder method) will be used for the calculation.
Change the maximum expected reverberation time to be measured.
Change the setting of the minimum difference between the lower calculation range for the selected RT function and the background noise level.
Change the primary reverberation time function (T20, T30, T15 or EDT/Tmax). The selected function will be used for the calculation in the rating part.
When performing reverberation time measurements in multiple positions, a new feature for Ensemble Averaging may be used to average the decay curves before calculation the reverberation time value.
You can enable up to 20 automatic repetitions of a measurement. The delay between the measurements can be set from 0 to 20 seconds. Be aware that the 'Auto Save On Accept' has to be enabled in the Memory Setup menu to make this functionality work.
