Connecting Accelerometers.
Make sure that the correct transducer is selected in the Input menu before it is connected to the analyser. If the sensor does not appear in the sensor list then first add it in the sensor administration.
It is easy to select the correct transducer, and its settings, if they have reasonable and recognizable names.
If you need to connect the transducer via an extension cable or some external electronics, then make sure that these devices does not give any conflicts with the electrical parameters or the response of interest. Long cables can be used with IEPE transducers with insignificant influence of levels and frequencies.
Use a sound vibration calibrator to verify the performance of the system after the microphone set is connected.
