A fully equipped Nor150 has:
Two sound input channels for microphones and preamplifiers called S1 and S2.
Two vibration input channels for tri-axial accelerometers called VA and VB.

The sound input channels take traditional (Lemo style) preamplifiers and microphones. The microphones can be both with and without polarization voltage (pre-polarized). As an alternative IEPE preamplifiers can be used together with pre-polarized microphones.

The vibration input sockets are intended for IEPE transducers. Each socket has three input lines (named X, Y and Z for the respective directions).

RPM information and also weather data can be logged together with profile data when the correct options are installed.

The instrument can optionally also be delivered with only one sound channel.
