Reliable measurements you can trust
The Nor163 is engineered for professional vibration monitoring where data integrity matters. Six synchronous measurement channels, advanced signal processing, and support for both geophone and MEMS accelerometer sensors ensure accurate and repeatable results across a wide range of applications.
Deploy and measure in minutes
Installation is straightforward. Simply connect the sensor and start measuring. Each sensor contains its own calibration and identification data, allowing the system to automatically recognize and configure connected equipment without manual setup in the field.
Built for long-term monitoring
With dual LiFePO4 battery packs and up to six months of operation, the Nor163 is ideal for long-duration projects. Batteries can be replaced individually while the system remains operational, reducing downtime and service visits.
Robust connectivity anywhere
The integrated Cat M1 modem provides reliable cloud communication with extended coverage and low power consumption. Measurement data can be uploaded automatically, enabling remote access and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
Designed for harsh environments
The IP67-rated enclosure, absence of external antennas, and rugged construction make the Nor163 suitable for challenging outdoor environments where reliability is essential.
Complete cloud integration
The Nor163 integrates directly with NorCloud, providing remote configuration, monitoring, data management, and reporting. For organizations with their own platforms, a secure API enables integration into custom applications and workflows.
Smart sensor technology
Norsonic has more than 50 years of experience in developing sensors for noise and vibration.
For the Nor163 we have developed three different sensors tailored for demanding conditions.
All sensors include a digital calibration certificate containing all necessary values.
Any sensor can therefore be plugged into the Nor163 without the user having to configure calibration
values, serial numbers, sensor types, etc. Everything is automatically configured in the cloud service.

Applications
What are you going to measure?
Environmental noise
Reliable noise monitoring with sound level meter, stand-alone terminals or large-scale systems.
Building acoustic
Building acoustic is about the sound that travels between rooms - something you'd rather avoid.
