The Nor1217 outdoor microphone protection is the semi‑permanent version of the Nor1216 outdoor microphone, designed for professional environmental noise monitoring. It offers the same robust all‑weather protection and SysCheck functionality, ensuring reliable performance and easy functional verification in the field.

Nor1217 is optimised for use with the standard preamplifier and microphone supplied with the Nor140, Nor145, and Nor150 sound analyzers, making it straightforward to integrate into existing Norsonic measurement setups.

Together with these instruments, the Nor1217 provides a practical and cost‑efficient solution for outdoor noise measurements in applications such as environmental noise compliance, long‑term monitoring, and industrial noise assessments.
